AGC/PACThis committee manages the voluntary contributions made by member firms and employees. Political contributions to elected officials and candidates are a vital component of our Highway Funding Task Force long-term strategy. We also need to utilize our PAC to complement our legislative efforts on matters unrelated to funding. PAC contributions help to widen our sphere of influence and by targeting legislators who are considered rising stars or future leaders, we can forge and cultivate relationships that will last beyond just one election cycle. Finally, our PAC serves as a token of our appreciation to the politicians who advocate for our industry and support our agenda at various functions.
