The LRD negotiates collective bargaining agreements on behalf of its members and non-member Contractors with the various trades involved in the highway/heavy construction industry. Its members are involved as trustees to various jointly trusteed funds created or contributed to pursuant to the collective bargaining agreements. We assist with resolution of jurisdictional disputes, counsel and interpret language and represent members with professional grievance, disputes and arbitration with the trades with which we have agreements. We Advocate legislation and regulatory change at the state level to improve the regulatory climate to the benefit of all contractors.
