| AGC NYS PAC Committee Staff Contact Steve Stallmer The Associated General Contractors of New York State Political Action Committee The AGC NYS PAC is funded by a combination of voluntary contributions from hundreds of employees working for AGC-member companies and corporate donations from the firms. The payroll deduction system was established over a decade ago and patterned after similar programs currently used by organized labor. These two mechanisms generate about $90,000 a year to the PAC. Expenditures from the PAC are made to candidates and campaign committees for the offices of: Governor, Attorney General, Comptroller, State Senate and State Assembly. The AGC NYS PAC can not be used to contribute to candidates for Congress. Recipients of a PAC contribution are based upon the recommendations of AGC NYS staff and consultants and the approval of the PAC Committee. Candidates and incumbents that understand the construction industry, support investing in our state’s infrastructure and promote a level-playing field for all contractors receive PAC contributions. Our expenditures are made on a non-partisan basis – we contribute to Democrats and Republicans. For more information on the AGC NYS PAC, or to enroll in the voluntary employee payroll deduction program, please contact Steve Stallmer - 518-456-1134 - email: stallmer@agcnys.org Co-Chairman Mark Breslin – Turner Construction - 518-432-0277 |
