Killer Contract Clauses – “Vague/Open-Ended Scope of Work Provisions and Dispute Resolution Provisions”

The construction industry is risky enough without the increased risks resulting from careless or uninformed contract formation practices. Many construction projects do not end up in dispute. On such untroubled projects, the allocation of risks and responsibilities in the contract documents receives little, if any, attention by the parties. However, this is not always the case. When disputes and controversies do arise, the resolution of such problems generally begin (and often end, as well) with the terms and conditions contained in the contract documents.

“Killer Contract Clauses” is being offered in a series of eight weekly webinars so that plenty of time may be devoted to each topic area. This webinar series is designed for both prime contractors and subcontractors and will highlight common “killer” contract clauses that can be potentially very damaging to your business. These webinars will also offer suggestions on how to make changes to these killer clauses to lesson your risk on a project.
