The AGC Safety Management Training Course (SMTC) provides attendees three days of training on the basic skills needed to manage a company safety program in the construction industry. The SMTC program builds on Focus Four training and prepares attendees to manage key safety issues on the job site and provides techniques for delivering basic safety training to field personnel. Participants will receive intensive instruction and training that will allow them to return to their firms with readily applicable new skills to positively impact their company’s safety and health program.

Cancellation Policy: A full refund will be given to cancellations made 14 calendar days prior to the class kick-off. After such time, no refunds will be given. Replacements are acceptable and must be submitted via email to rockkie.dunton[@]agc.org.
Transfer Policy: All transfers must be to courses starting within 90 days of the original course start date. Send transfer requests to rockkie.dunton[@]agc.org.
AGC reserves the right to cancel programs up to 10 days prior to the start date if a minimum number of attendees is not met.

Jim Goss is HCSS’s Senior Safety Consultant and has specialized in Construction safety for over 25 years. Jim was instrumental in creating the first ever Construction Safety degree plan at Keene State University that awarded degrees to its first graduating class in 2019.
Jim currently serves as the Chairman for Government Affairs on the Associated General Contractors of America National Safety Committee. Jim is also the Co-Chairman of Associated General Contractors Crane Task Force and is a national stakeholder in this subject area.
