Who Should Attend: NYC Superintendents, Safety Professionals, Project Managers, Project Executives, Principals
This program is centered on NYC Local Law 81 of 2017 in relation to requiring construction superintendents at ALL MAJOR building construction sites, and a majority of NON-Major Building construction sites reviewing latest regulatory practices and compliance responsibilities for both supervisors and competent persons. Industry experts will cover LL81, Site Safety Plans, Chapter 33 requirements (3301.3, 3301.7, 3301.11, 3301.12, 3301.13.7, 3301.13.8, and all of sections pertinent to superintendents). Attendees will receive an exact review of the law, including what NYC Superintendents must know to perform their duties accurately, logs and forms required by NYC DOB, jobsite postings, required information from subcontractors and workers, and finally the penalties that can be associated with non-compliance.
The program will begin with a demonstration of the AGC NYS NYC FastFacts App, which includes all of the information from the agencies governing the construction work in NYC. Attendees will also be given a paper copy of the AGC NYS Chapter 33 Safeguards During Construction and Demolition handbook, a comprehensive handout of DOB logs, forms, and reference material. If you’re building in NYC, you’ll want to be sure that your Superintendents are up to speed with all the latest NYC DOB requirements. Attendees are encouraged to ask questions during and after the presentation.
