Unit 6 Managing Risks: Safeguarding Project Success

Beginning its 27th year, the Associated General Contractors of New York State proudly present a program designed to assist the construction contractor member in developing future construction company managers and leaders.
The program will review How to Handle an OSHA Inspection and review the steps and processes in an OSHA Inspection on your jobsite, what to do when OSHA knocks on the door from beginning to end, and how to prepare for a citation if you receive one.
This program takes an extensive look at OSHA’s 1926 Construction Safety Standards. Effects of injuries on workers’ compensation and liability insurance are covered and time is spent addressing how to manage OSHA-related issues. Demonstrations, mock-ups and hands-on exercises are utilized to apply material covered.
